Fruit trees need healthy, deep roots to be able to supply the canopy during critical stages – flowering, fruit set, fruit development and wood maturation. Stress caused by drought or a lack of key nutrients leads to premature fruit drop, poor wood maturation and subsequent susceptibility to frost.

Application to the root zone and long-lasting effects are key. For orchards, the most effective method is local application to the trunk or into the inter-row space before cultivation.
