HUMAC
For the soil

Restoring soil vitality and tackling environmental burdens: Let’s bring life back to places where it is disappearing
Soil structure revitalisation • Heavy metal detoxification • Humus formation
We restore the soil’s natural strength and balance using the activated humic acids in HUMAC® Agro.
Soil is not merely a lifeless substrate for roots to take hold. It is a complex ecosystem that is currently being depleted by intensive farming, the use of chemicals and climate change. The loss of humus, compaction (erosion) and contamination are silent threats to our future.
The solution? HUMAC® Agro is not a conventional fertiliser. It is a biostimulant and soil conditioner that acts as a ‘blood transfusion’ for the soil. It supplies the soil with stable carbon and organic matter, thereby triggering natural regeneration processes that would otherwise take decades in nature.
How HUMAC® helps
🌍 1. Revitalisation of soil structure and humus
formation: HUMAC® Agro promotes the formation of stable soil aggregates. It improves soil porosity, thereby allowing better access of air and water to the roots. Regular application leads to the build-up of permanent humus, which is the cornerstone of soil fertility.
🛡️ 2. Detoxification and binding of harmful substances (Immobilisation)
One of the most significant properties of humic acids is their ability to bind heavy metals (cadmium, lead, mercury) and pesticide residues into stable complexes that plants cannot absorb. This prevents them from entering the food chain and cleanses the soil profile.
💧 3. Solutions for erosion and water management
Compacted soil is unable to absorb water, leading to flooding and subsequent drought. HUMAC® Agro creates a structure of micro-cracks (pedos) in the soil, which act like a sponge. The soil absorbs storm water, retains it in the root zone and prevents surface runoff (erosion).
🦠 4. Promoting soil biodiversity
Healthy soil must be alive. Humic acids are a source of energy for soil microorganisms and beneficial fungi (mycorrhizae). Restoring soil life naturally enhances the soil’s self-cleaning capacity and its resistance to pathogens.
Uses
- Industrial site rehabilitation: The restoration of land following mining, industrial activity or contamination.
- Restoring barren soils: Restoring the productive capacity of soils with low organic matter content and disturbed pH levels.
- Urban ecosystems: Revitalisation of urban green spaces and parks affected by salinisation and soil compaction.
Dosage
| Purpose of the application | Recommended dose | Meaning |
| Soils without topsoil and barren soils | 1,000–3,000 kg/ha | Repeated application over a period of 2–3 years to kick-start the soil-improvement process. |
| Basic refurbishment | 500 kg/ha | A one-off replenishment of organic carbon reserves and stimulation of the microflora. |
| Reducing the environmental impact | According to the soil analysis | Targeted immobilisation of contaminants within the soil profile. |
Let’s build a world on sound foundations
Environmentally friendly solutions are not a luxury, but a necessity. With HUMAC products, you are taking responsibility for the condition of the soil that we will pass on to future generations.
