Compared with other crops, grapevines are extremely sensitive to soil conditions and uneven nutrient supply. Problems such as chlorosis (yellowing of leaves) and water stress directly affect photosynthesis, wood maturation and grape quality (sugars, acids, colour).

The solution? HUMAC® Agro is a 100% natural humic soil conditioner that tackles the causes, not just the symptoms. In the soil, it acts as a smart nutrient carrier, stabilising nutrients, making them available to the vines and, at the same time, improving the soil’s water-retention properties for the critical summer months.

🍷 1. Effective prevention of chlorosis (Fe and Mn)
Vines often suffer from iron and manganese deficiencies, even though these elements are present in the soil. Thanks to its chelating effect, HUMAC® is able to bind these key microelements and transport them directly to the roots in an easily accessible form. The vine is more vigorous and has healthy foliage.

resistance. During the berry-filling and ripening stages, a lack of moisture is most critical. HUMAC® Agro improves soil structure and increases its water-holding capacity, thereby reducing water stress in the vines and ensuring uniform ripening of the grapes.

🌱 3. A stronger root system and longer lifespan
Humic acids are natural growth stimulants that promote the vigorous development of the root system. Stronger roots mean better anchorage, greater resistance to stress and a longer lifespan for the whole shrub.

🌍 4. Soil improvement (regeneration) and the microbiome
After years of cultivation, the soil needs to be regenerated. HUMAC® increases the organic matter content, detoxifies the soil of chemical residues and stimulates natural life (microorganisms) in the rhizosphere, which is the foundation of the vineyard’s long-term health.

Dosage

A long-term investment with proven results:
HUMAC® Agro is applied to the soil, where it has a long-lasting effect.

Standard application rate: 300–500 kg per 1,000 plants (depending on soil type).
Application: Work into the soil between rows (under the crop) or broadcast over the area and then work into the root zone.
Frequency: The treatment is long-term, with effects lasting 3–4 years. It is repeated as and when soil regeneration is required.
Certification: Approved for organic farming (BIO).
