Results of a field trial on greenhouse cucumber cultivation in Iraq

We would like to present the specific results of tests carried out on the HUMAC® Agro soil stimulator under intensive greenhouse conditions. The aim of the trial was to assess the effect of activated humic acids on the overall yield and quality parameters of fruiting vegetables.

Test methodology and procedure:

Dosage: 12.5 kg of HUMAC® Agro was applied to the test greenhouse.
Conditions: Both groups under study (the test group and the control group) used identical cucumber varieties, planted at the same time and employed the same agricultural practices.

Results achieved: The application of HUMAC® Agro demonstrated a significant increase in yield in both harvest phases:

Phase I of the harvest: A 66 kg increase in yield compared with the control group.
Phase II of the harvest: An increase in yield of up to 175 kg compared with the control.

Quality indicators: In addition to the quantitative results, there was a noticeable improvement in the commercial quality of the fruit. The cucumbers exhibited optimal uniformity of shape and a more intense dark green colour, which directly increases their market value.

Conclusion: This test confirms that integrating HUMAC® Agro into the cultivation process optimises nutrient uptake and significantly improves the economic efficiency of protected crops.

HUMAC® Agro is a free-flowing powder. Work it into the soil to ensure it is mixed in evenly.
