What personal data do we collect and why?
Registration and Purchases
When you shop with us or register (which is a prerequisite for placing an order), we ask you to provide information including your first name, surname, billing and delivery addresses, email address, telephone number and, in the case of business customers, your company registration number and VAT number. We will use this information to:
- Creating and managing your user account.
- Receipt and processing of your order.
- Sending updates on the status of an order.
- Issuing a tax document (invoice).
- Ensuring delivery of the goods (providing details to the carrier).
Comments and reviews:
When visitors leave a comment or product review on the website, we collect the data shown in the form, as well as the user’s IP address and browser User-Agent, for the purpose of protecting against spam. An anonymised string created from your email address (a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check whether you are using it. Gravatar’s privacy policy: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once approved, your profile picture will be publicly displayed alongside your comment.
Multimedia:
If you are uploading images to a website (e.g. when making a complaint about goods), you should avoid uploading images containing EXIF GPS location data.
Cookies
If you are shopping on our website, we use cookies to retain the contents of your shopping basket whilst you browse our site. If you have an account with us and log in, we will set temporary cookies to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. These cookies do not contain any personal data and are deleted when you close your browser. When you log in, we set several cookies to save your login details and display settings. Login cookies are valid for two days and display settings for one year. If you select the ‘Remember me’ option, your login will remain valid for two weeks. When you log out of your account, these cookies are deleted. If you add a review or comment on our website, you can choose to have your name and email address stored in cookies for your convenience, so that you do not have to enter them again the next time you comment. These cookies are valid for one year.

Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. However, in order to deliver your goods and comply with our legal obligations, we share your data with our trusted partners:
- Courier companies: In order to deliver your parcel, we pass on your name, address, email address and telephone number to Packeta, SPS, DPD, Geis or SDS (depending on your chosen and available delivery method).
- Accounting services: We provide your billing details to our external accountancy firm for the purpose of processing your accounts.
- IT support and hosting: The providers of the server solutions on which our website runs.
- If you request a password reset for your account, your IP address will be included in the password reset email.
How long we retain your data
For users who register on our website, we store the personal data they provide in their profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal data at any time (except for changing their username). Website administrators can also view and edit this information. Under the Accounting Act, we are required to retain details of your purchases and invoices for a period of 10 years following the year in which the document was issued. If you add a comment or review, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely.
What rights do you have over your data?
If you have an account on this website or have placed an order with us, you may request an export of the personal data we hold about you. You also have the right to request the correction of incorrect data, to restrict its processing, or to request the complete erasure of your personal data. However, the right to erasure does not apply to data that we are required to retain for administrative, legal (e.g. archiving of invoices) or security reasons. If you believe that we are breaching the law in the processing of your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (ÚOOÚ SR).
Where is your data sent?
